Institut Pasteur in Iran



Located in the heart of Tehran, the Iranian capital, the Institut Pasteur of Iran was founded over 80 years ago to fight against disease and act in favor of health in the country. The Institut Pasteur of Iran is led by a board of directors and is affiliated to the Iranian Ministry of Health. It also maintains a close and active cooperation with international organizations such as WHO and the Institut Pasteur International Network.

Goals and Objectives

The Institut Pasteur of Iran aims to strengthen applied research on biological products and research in basic sciences, in order to develop and optimize new technologies and methods in applied research, putting a particular emphasis on infections.
