SISEA

Surveillance and

Investigation of

Epidemic

Situations in

South-East Asia

 

Since 2006, Institut Pasteur has been working with the French Development Agency (AFD) on the SISEA project (Surveillance and Investigation of Endemic Situations in South-East Asia), which aims to develop surveillance and response capabilities in the face of emerging pathogenic agents with epidemic potential in South-East Asia. 


This project is supported by institutes and laboratories brought together within the Institut Pasteur Network in:


  • Cambodia
  • China 
  • Laos
  • Vietnam

The purpose of the SISEA project is to improve the detection and management of epidemic episodes in the region.
