Accord entre l’Institut Pasteur et le CIRAD

10/10/12 Le 10 octobre 2012, l'Institut Pasteur et le CIRAD (Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement) ont signé un accord-cadre pour renforcer leur coopération scientifique internationale. Nourrissant un intérêt partagé pour les problématiques de santé dans de nombreux pays du Sud, l’Institut Pasteur et le CIRAD décident de renforcer leurs collaborations internationales sur les maladies infectieuses et les anthropozoonoses, tout particulièrement sous l'angle des pathogènes émergents et du lien santé-environnement. Les deux institutions coopèrent déjà efficacement sur des actions communes concertées au Cambodge, en Guadeloupe et à Madagascar. Ainsi l’Institut Pasteur et le CIRAD souhaitent développer ce type de partenariat au service du développement d'une recherche interdisciplinaire et transversale dans plusieurs domaines de la santé dans la zone Sud (Afrique, région Méditerranée, Asie du Sud-est, Caraïbes et Océan indien). Dans cet objectif, l'émergence d'une communauté scientifique sera encouragée à travers des collaborations locales, des formations et le développement de plateformes communes de recherche. |

10/10/12 On October 10th, 2012, Institut Pasteur and CIRAD (Centre for International Cooperation in Agronomic Research for Development) signed a framework agreement to strengthen their international scientific cooperation. Feeding a shared interest in the health issues in many developing countries, Institut Pasteur and CIRAD decided to strengthen their international collaborations on infectious diseases and anthropozoonoses while particularly in terms of emerging pathogens and of the health and environment link. The two agencies already cooperate effectively on concerted joins in Cambodia, in Madagascar and in Guadeloupe. So they want to develop this type of partnership for the development of an interdisciplinary and cross research in several areas of health in the South (Africa, Mediterranean rim, South-east Asia, Caribbean and Indian Ocean). For this purpose, the emergence of a scientific community will be encouraged through local collaborations, trainings and the development of common research platforms. |
