Fundação Oswaldo Cruz and Institut Pasteur Agreement
The deadline for submitting applications is May 23, 2011
The main objective is to facilitate the start-up of collaborations in priority areas of translational research and actions in the public health programs.
This is an open call not restricted to specific fields. The project should bring together researchers or teams from at least one of the Institut Pasteur International Network and from a team of Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. Partnership with teams from other institutions is also encouraged.
A Brazilian and Institut Pasteur coordinators should be specified when submitting the application form. The coordinators will be responsible for supervision and execution of the project both scientifically and administratively.
A previous approved of Ethical Local Committee is required and the protocol number should be as well as identification of the Committee should be included on the proposal.
The duration of funding is one year renewable for one more year after analysis of the yearly report. The research projects will receive a joint financing which can go to 30.000 euro a year.
Project selection will be carried out by the Scientific Committee of the Fiocruz - Institut Pasteur Program.
Application Forms are available on-line in an English Version. Identical project proposals should be applied by both French and Brazilian coordinators.
